The fleshly essence

It’s the fleshly essence of our attraction. And like it, amputations as well come in many ways. There’s of course the particular limb that was taken off, there’s the level of amputation, and last but not least there’s how the surgery has made the stump come to look.
Obviously, the latter often relates to the reason for amputation, and equally obviously, a stump will not always look ‘pretty’. Especially traumatic amputations as a result of accident can rather prominently reflect what caused them, as they have their share of admirers.

To a large degree, the selection I made reflects my own preferences. Not totally though, since I want this section to also be a tribute to variety.
